Frozen bananas are one of the top natural remedies for helping a child cope with the pain of infant teething. For children who display classic teething symptoms, frozen bananas are a natural, inexpensive and healthy way to deal with teething pain. Ease a child's teething pain, with a firm frozen banana.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Peel a banana and cut it in half length-wise with a knife. Remove all of the stringy banana pieces.
Step2
Put the banana halves into an air tight freezer bag. Place the bag in the freezer. The banana halves may take several hours to freeze.
Step3
Recognize when the child is uncomfortable and suffering from infant teething pain. Teething may include any of the following symptoms or a combination of a low-grade fever, swollen gums, excessive drool, constant gnawing on objects, crankiness and general irritability.
Step4
Take one of the frozen banana halves from the freezer and hold it for the teething child to gum. Supervise the child by holding the frozen banana half because the child may gum off small chunks of banana.
