Nothing is sexier than thigh high stockings, especially if the stockings have some trim on the top. However, there is a reason why many women don't wear them—they're not as warm as other stockings and they can constrict movement. If you're thinking of buying thigh high stockings there are some things to keep in mind.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Decide if you want your thigh highs that stay up on their own, also called hold-ups, depending on the company who makes them, or if you want stockings held up by a garter belt. Stockings held up by a garter belt are less likely to cut off circulation, constrict your thighs or fall down, however the garters themselves may be uncomfortable.
Step2
Try on the stockings. The stockings shouldn't create puffs of skin over the stocking, or create lines in your thighs. Never get hung up on the size number; choosing a size that's too small will make you look awful in your thigh highs, and let's be honest—you're wearing thigh highs to be as sexy as possible. Your partner will not care about the size you wear, only what you look like in them.
Step3
Consider getting thigh highs with a seam down the back. This old-fashioned look is extremely sexy. Roll the thigh highs up your legs to keep the seam straight as you put them on.
Step4
Choose colors and material same as you would for regular stockings. You can get a rainbow of colors and transparent or opaque stockings.
Step5
Watch your nails when putting them on. Thigh high stockings tend to be more fragile than other stockings and can get holes and runs in them very easily.
