Step 1
Notice an increase in your tooth sensitivity. Heat and cold are transmitted through the dentin to the nerve of the tooth more easily when the protective enamel of a tooth is lost.
-
Step 2
Check for receding gums. Enamel can be eroded by improper brushing or gum disease, causing the gums to recede. V-shaped notches near the gum line can indicate abrasion of the enamel due to excessive brushing. Overuse of a toothpick can cause notches of eroded enamel between the teeth.
-
Step 3
Look for chipped fractured teeth that may cause the dentin to be immediately exposed. Chronic teeth clenching or grinding can cause the grinding surface of the molars to be characteristically flat.
-
Step 4
Review your eating habits for sugar consumption. Exposure of the teeth to sugar can produce an acid that may erode the enamel. This is the most common cause of enamel loss.
-
Step 5
Get a dental exam if loss of tooth enamel is expected. A dentist can detect soft spots in the enamel by probing the teeth with an instrument. An X-ray can confirm the loss of enamel.

on 11/18/2009 Only one comment says that this product doesn't work & the others are commenting on the scam about having to pay $68-80 dollars for future tubes of the stuff. If you don't cancel within 14 days of recieving it. I don't understand. Is it the produvt itself doesn't work or are you just upset you let the 14 days elaps and didn't cancell the membership therefore getting billed because you forgot. Fill me in on the product itself because I foolishly just ordered it and then decided to check it out and found this site. Boy do I feel foolish now. But I still am not sure if you are upset at the money or the product for not working.

on 5/8/2009 The ad on this page that I see right now is also a fake; same claims, same "product", same scam. KatiesTeeth.com too is a fake. Watch ads saying "discovered by a Mom" for under $10. They all have different names but it's the same product, same lie, same scam.

on 5/8/2009 Don't beileve cathysteeth.com is any better than jennys, because it's the same. Your "free sample" is not free at all, and the product doesn't work. But, they tell you you have to use more of it, because it "gradually" whitens them the more you use it. You know the saying, "if it sounds too good to be true", then it's NOT!
