Instructions

    • 1

Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.

    • 2

Combine 1/2 cup of oil and 1 cup of water in a sauce pan and bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.

    • 3

Add 2 cups of matzoh meal, 1 tsp. of kosher salt and 1 tbsp. of sugar. Mix the ingredients well and continue to heat on medium. Stir the mixture constantly until the batter begins to clump together and pull away easily from the sides of the saucepan. Remove from heat and continue to stir.

    • 4

Continue to mix the ingredients while off of the heat, allowing the mixture to cool while you are stirring for about 5 minutes. Add four eggs one at a time, mixing each egg thoroughly into the batter before adding the next egg. Make sure that the batter has cooled enough that it does not cook the egg.

    • 5

Roll the batter into a large "log." Divide the batter into twelve equal portions. Roll out each portion slightly and wrap the dough around a hotdog to create your Passover rollups. Scoring the dough where the pieces overlap will help them to stick together. If necessary, use a toothpick to hold the dough in place.

    • 6

Place the 12 passover hotdog rollups on a greased baking sheet. Bake the rollups until the hotdogs are sizzling and the dough is golden brown.
