Instructions

    • 1

Purchase powdered fenugreek seeds at your local health food store. If you cannot find fenugreek seeds in powdered form, you can use a clean coffee grinder to make your own. Fenugreek is often used externally to reduce skin inflammation and will help to balance the pH of your skin, combating acne and dark circles at the same time.

    • 2

Mix 1 tbsp. of powdered fenugreek with 2 tsp. of organic whole milk. Make sure that your milk is organic, as regular milk often contains hormones and other chemicals that can do more harm than good to your delicate skin. Milk, which contains lactic acid, helps to exfoliate and soften the skin and provides a number of proteins, enzymes, amino acids and antioxidants needed to strengthen the skin and capillaries. The antioxidants in milk in particular help to heal damage caused by the sun, free radicals and prescription medications and will help prevent further damage in the future.

    • 3

Add 1 tsp. of fresh organic apple juice made from green apples. You may also add the fenugreek and milk to a blender with a slice of green apple for the same effect. Green apples are rich in vitamins A, B, and C and secrete a natural acid that will help all of these healing ingredients absorb into the skin. Best of all, green apples have a gentle whitening effect on the skin, helping to treat dark circles.

Combine the ingredients well. Wash your face with gentle soap and warm water, opening the pores and increasing skin absorption. Apply an even layer of the fenugreek and milk paste to the dark circles under your eyes and leave overnight. Repeat application daily.

Tips & Warnings

  • Depending on the pH of your skin, skin thickness and severity of your dark circles, it may take 6 to 8 weeks for visible results.

  • Once your dark circles have disappeared, continue using the fenugreek and milk paste two or three times a week to prevent the return of dark circles and protect the skin and capillaries.
