Mother's Day is a holiday unlike most others. It's a time to honor the unique qualities that make our mom better than all the other moms. A terrific way to do that is to create a unique card just for her, something that no one else has or can purchase. With a few simple steps, you can create a digital Mother's Day card for your special mother.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Research digital scrap booking sites online. There are several you can use for free.

  2. Step 2

Investigate photo storage websites such as Shutterfly or Flickr, as they also have digital scrap booking items you can use to create a digital Mother's Day card. These sites are particularly useful if you already have family photos stored on their site.

  3. Step 3

Design a layout that is pleasing to your eye. You can include pictures from your personal computer or import them from most photo storage locations. If you have trouble doing that, simply cut and paste the photo onto your desktop to use in your digital Mother's Day card.

  4. Step 4

Add personal items such as a favorite poem or a personal memory. You can customize your font size, style and color to make your digital Mother's Day card colorful and artistic.

  5. Step 5

Choose embellishments such as buttons, ribbons, flowers or pearls. Embellishing a digital Mother's Day card is as simple as it is to embellish a traditional card or scrap book page.

  6. Step 6

Print your card to your personal color printer or copy to a disc and take to a copy center to be printed on card stock. If you choose not to print the card, you can email a copy of the card to your mom.
