How to Get Tickets to a Formula 1 Race

When you think Formula 1, don't think about stock cars going around in a circle. Formula 1 cars are extremely aerodynamic. Teams spend millions of dollars every year just on improving the technology. Formula 1 has a rich history. The first non-championship races started in 1946. The first World Championship race came four years later in the United Kingdom. Millions of people from 200 countries now watch the races.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to the Formula 1 website. It gives you everything you need to know about drivers, races, results and travel (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

    Check out the Formula 1 race schedule (see Resources below). There are fourteen races spanning from March to September. Formula One races all over the world. Cities include Spain, China, Malaysia, Hungary and Monaco.

  3. Step 3

    Book your tickets through the Formula 1 website. Click on the top of the homepage on Tickets and Travel. Choose your currency then input your travel information and desired race.

  4. Step 4

    Watch as the website spits out your travel and ticket information. Ticket prices range from $100 for a single race to $600 for a 4-day pass. It will also compute costs for air travel and car rental, if needed.

  5. Step 5

    Go through an independent ticket broker. Most websites that sell tickets to sporting events also sell tickets to Formula 1 races.

  6. Step 6

    Have the tickets mailed to your home in advance of the race.
