Good personal hygiene is critical to your health and well being. Taking the time to properly groom yourself will help you avoid illness as well as help you achieve social acceptance. By promoting cleanliness and developing healthy habits, you will be presentable for every situation.

Step1
Bathe daily. Use soap to cleanse your body and shampoo to cleanse your hair. Body odor is offensive and daily bathing will eliminate it. Good personal hygiene should be practiced every day.
Step2
Brush your teeth a minimum of twice a day. Your smile has a tremendous effect on how you are perceived by others. Dirty, yellow teeth are not the image you want to present. In addition, brushing your teeth helps promote healthy teeth and gums as well as defeating bad breath.
Step3
Groom yourself as needed. Keep your hair neat and tidy, trim your fingernails and toe nails and shave or wax regularly. Paying attention to the details of how you look is an important part of good personal hygiene. It keeps your skin and hair healthy and gives you a well groomed appearance.
Step4
Apply deodorant daily. You may not notice your body odor, but others do, and it's not acceptable. Everyone perspires, but smelling bad is not necessary.
Step5
Get plenty of rest. Your body rejuvenates itself as you sleep. You can erase dark circles, minimize wrinkling and be in a better state of mind by getting plenty of rest.
Step6
Drink the recommended amount of water each day. Hydrated skin has a healthy glow to it that can not be duplicated.
Step7
Dress in clean and well fitting clothing. Cleaning yourself just to put on dirty clothing is not acceptable. All the clothing you put on should be clean regardless of whether it shows to the public or not. Undergarments need to be as clean and well mended as well as your outer garments.
