How to Build Psychic Awareness

The mystery of the paranormal world is always intriguing. If you've always dabbled in the unknown but never quite jumped in feet first, then perhaps you need to build psychic awareness first. Psychic awareness is the first step to starting a journey into the unknown.

1. Assess your personal psychic force. Each person is better at certain things. A great baseball player may not be very good at poker and likewise a poker player won't be good at baseball. There are many ways to receive psychic information. The five senses are some of the ways, just as "knowing" is.

2. Picture visions in your head and you are likely to receive psychic messages through your visual senses. If you've seen images that can be linked to an occurrence, you may be already be a visual psychic. This doesn't mean that you will necessarily see what happens, but sometimes see something that's symbolic and must be interpreted.

3. Listen to that inner voice that is giving you information. Psychotics have an inner voice, but often it tells them to do the unthinkable. A psychic inner voice will just relay beneficial information beneficial. There is a story of a voice that told a mother to take caution when the doctors were giving her child anesthetic. She acted on the voice and discussed this with the doctors, which saved her child's life.

4. Feel the danger or right move. Sometimes psychic warnings can come as physical feelings. A feeling like a punch in the stomach can be a warning of danger. Feeling good when choosing a new house can be your psychic powers approving of the choice.

5. Smell the stench of danger. Odors can come from nowhere and you may be the only one that smells them. Familiar pleasant odors, or fragrant odors, can mean that all is well. Putrid and rank odors can be a foreboding that all is not well. Build your psychic ability by paying attention to the circumstances and following the proper course.

6. React to bitter tastes, which can come before something bad. We have all heard the phrase, "their actions left a bad taste in my mouth." You may be one of the unusual people that use the sense of taste to access the information psychically.

7. Know that something is going to happen. Psychic ability can be in the form of just simply knowing what is going to happen. Pay attention to the messages that are given to build your psychic awareness.
