Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Stickers, stencils and other decorating supplies
  • Hard-boiled eggs
  • Newspaper
  • Paper towels
  • Various colors of BloPens
  • Film canister lids or a drying rack
  1. Step 1

Collect your supplies before you begin. Try adding stars or other sticker shapes, stencils or melted wax to create designs on your eggs. You can even decorate your Easter eggs with white liquid glue and glitter before putting the final coat of paint your eggs. The paint will not stick to the dried glue.

  2. Step 2

Dry the eggs thoroughly before starting. Any dampness on the egg may cause the paint to run and may stop your glue or stickers from sticking. Cover your eggs with any pre-decoration you like before beginning to paint. Be sure to cover your work surface well with newspaper to protect surfaces from paint spills and splatters and that you have paper towels handy for your fingers.

  3. Step 3

Spray the eggs lightly with the biopens in any color or pattern you like. Allow the first layer of paint to dry slightly before applying a second coat. If you used stickers or stencils to decorate your egg, wait to remove them until all layers of paint have dried thoroughly.

  4. Step 4

Set the eggs on film canister lids or on a drying rack until the have dried. Add any finishing touches and enjoy your new style of Easter egg decorating.
