Step 1
Remove gum or silly putty from your child's hair, from carpeting or upholstery around your house with a dab of peanut butter. Peanut butter is full natural oils that won't damage the hair or fabric as they break up the gum or putty. Place a healthy amount of peanut butter over the putty or gum and massage the butter in with your fingers. Let it set for 15 to 20 minutes before working out with a fine-toothed comb.
-
Step 2
Clean up glue adhesive that sticks to glass or plastic. Remove as much of the sticker as possible and cover the area with a thin layer of peanut butter. Allow the peanut butter to set for at least a few hours before cleaning with dish soap and warm water. The glue adhesive should wipe away clean

Step 3
Moisturize your hair with a bit of peanut butter. Mix equal parts of mayonnaise and peanut butter with a fork and work it into your damp hair. Wrap your head with a towel or use a shower cap to prevent drips around your house and allow the mixture to set for 30 minutes. Wash as normal for soft, silky hair.

Step 4
Use peanut butter as ant bait, as the yummy butter is irresistible even to insects. Mix 1/4 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. borax and 1 tsp. of peanut butter. Place a small dab in the bottom of several bottle caps and leave them around your house where ants are often seen.

Step 5
Prevent a dripping ice cream cone by adding a half spoonful of peanut butter to the bottom of the cone. Not only is peanut butter a great way to end a delicious ice cream treat, it will keep the melting cream from dripping all over you and your house.

Step 6
Add a spoonful of peanut butter to your frying pan when preparing fish. The peanut butter will add a nice subtle flavor to the fish and will prevent a fishy odor from hanging in your house for days afterwards.
