Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4-by-6 inch envelops (in Easter pastels)
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Pink construction paper
  • Tacky glue
  • Wiggle eyes
  • Craft supplies (pom poms, markers, crayons)
  • Easter grass
  • Easter eggs
  • Easter candies
  1. Step 1

Seal the empty envelope and place it in a portrait position, (short sides up and down, long sides right and left). Leave 2 inches at the bottom of the envelope, which will create the Easter bunny's face. On the upper 6 inches, draw your bunny's ears with a pencil.

  2. Step 2

Cut around the ears, being careful not to cut the top tips of the ears. When finished, you can tuck Easter grass or candies into the envelope, but the tips of the ears will help to hold everything in and will act like basket handles.

  3. Step 3

Draw and cut out the inner ears from pink construction paper and glue the teardrop shapes in place.

  4. Step 4

Place a small drop of glue to the back of your wiggle eyes and place them on the lower portion of the envelope below the ears to create your bunny's face. Create your bunny's nose with construction paper, markers, cotton ball or pom pom. Make a bunny mouth by gluing black or red yard below the nose, or simply draw the mouth with a marker.

  5. Step 5

Add any personal touches you may like. You might make bunny whiskers from thick black nylon or yarn or add a cotton ball bunny tail to the back of the envelope.

  6. Step 6

Stuff the Easter bunny envelope with Easter grass, Easter eggs or goodies.
