2. Check your genetic background. Certain nationalities and races grow less facial hair than others. If you're older and have a high testosterone level, then the problem may be genetic.
3. Shave often and use firaus oil. The frequent shaving cuts the hair follicle blunt and it appears thicker. There is no proof one way or the other that the oil helps, but it is marketed for that purpose.
4. Investigate hypnosis. There is a link to the mind and the functioning of the body. There are tapes that help the growth of hair. The results of using these tapes for facial hair is still unknown scientifically, but some people swear by them.
5. Enjoy not shaving. Facial hair on men doesn't always look good. Once it begins to grow in thickly, you may decide that you don't like it. Some men have 5 o'clock shadow by noon and have to go through the process of shaving a second time if they are going out at night.
