Read on to learn more.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Answer some basic details that go along with planning a party such as the budget; number of guest expected; a party theme; type of food to serve; likelihood of good weather for an outdoor party. These things may determine which party venues work best for the situation.

  2. Step 2

Consider any personal affiliations or memberships to groups, neighborhood associations, clubs, museums or places of worship. These organizations may offer possible party venues for kids birthday parties at discounted rates, for a small donation or even free of charge.

  3. Step 3

Contact public parks, playgrounds or even the local firehouse. Check the government pages online or a local phone book, if necessary. These venues are often used to host kids birthday parties for a small deposit or donation depending on availability.

  4. Step 4

Review local fast food restaurants especially those with indoor playgrounds which are free to use. In this case, the only party venue cost may be the purchase of a kid's meal for each child.

  5. Step 5

Select a location, reserve a date, pay any necessary upfront costs and then have fun planning a party.
