Perform on the parallel bars and everyone watches in awe. The gymnast makes it look completely effortless although that person has to train very long and hard to create the routine they are showing off. You can perform simple but beautiful routines on the parallel bars also.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Step inside the parallel bars. Face forward with a bar on your left and one on your right.
Step2
Place your hands on the parallel bars. Wrap your hand into a fist around the bar to begin to perform.
Step3
Raise yourself up by pushing on the bars with your hands and letting your feet leave the ground. Straighten out your arms until you are about three feet off the ground and your arms are straight.
Step4
Sway a little bit forward and backward with your legs. Your arms will bear your weight as you sway. Swing your legs higher until they are reaching the top of the bar. Throw your legs over the right bar and sit on the bar.
Step5
Place your right hand on the left bar about shoulder distance from your left hand. Flip your body over. Your position should be both hands holding the parallel bar, arms straight out from shoulder to hand, head to toe inclined downward over the bars.
Step6
Dismount by flipping off the side. Raise from your pose and move your body forward until your feet are just touching the other bar.
Step7
Lower your body until your torso touches the parallel bar and perform the dismount by somersaulting around and landing on your feet at the side of the bar.
