You've seen the signs such as changes in appearance, fewer demands on your time and secretive behavior. Then there was the night you woke up at 3:00 a.m. and found her talking on the phone in the living room. You're pretty sure your wife is cheating but you have yet to catch her.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Ask yourself if you are sure you want to know. Once you have proof of a cheating wife you will have to handle it. Are you prepared to know the truth?

  2. Step 2

Make a plan. Know what you intend to do with the information after you get it. Decide how you will confront your wife and what your expectations will be from her after you let her know that you know. Are you willing to stay married or will you plan to file for divorce?

  3. Step 3

Keep your suspicions to yourself. It is never a good idea to confront your spouse if you suspect cheating. If she not cheating she will be hurt by your lack of trust, if she is cheating you will provide her with advance warning to be more discreet before you can catch her.

  4. Step 4

Check her computer for signs of cheating. If you do not know the password to her email account, install a password snooper on her computer to get the password for you. Read her email. Check the "History" file on her computer to see what websites she has been frequenting.

  5. Step 5

Follow her. If it is possible for you to physically follow her when she leaves the house she might lead you to the information you are looking for.

  6. Step 6

Hire a private investigator to follow her if you can't do it yourself. If your wife is cheating the private investigator will be able to provide the proof. If she is not, a private investigator will determine that too.

  7. Step 7

Use technology. Technological advancement have made it possible for suspicious spouses to bug the telephone, put remote cameras in the bedroom, and have GPS tracking systems on their cars.
