Instructions

    Prep Your Hammock

  1. Step 1

Purchase a quality hammock. Ignore the basic rope or nylon varieties, as they will not be strong enough to support two people.

  2. Step 2

Fasten your hammock to some form of rigid and sturdy framework or even to a tree. Make sure the anchor points will hold the weight, without breaking or moving.

  3. Step 3

Tie adequate knots. Use a bowline loop on either end of the hammock to keep it from slipping or untying.

  4. Choose a Position

  5. Step 1

Choose a position that you and your partner can enjoy for the entirety of the session. Changing positions is complicated in a hammock, and may require one or both of you getting out and then back in.

  6. Step 2

Have the woman lie down the vertical sideways of the hammock so that the man can stand between her legs. Use the natural swaying motion of the hammock as an aid.

  7. Step 3

Try the woman on top initially for when both partners are in the hammock at once. Also, attempt to utilize the spooning position.

  8. Step 4

Lay across the hammock so that your legs are on one corner and your heads on the opposite corner. Have sex in a hammock by using all of the space provided. This will prevent the hammock from curling up and provide you and your partner more space.
