Check the cost of the visit before you schedule your appointment. Some places add a tip to the price, while others allow you to tip based on your experience. When you call to book your appointment, ask what the policy of the salon is so you know when you arrive.

Note your experience as you receive your massage. If the therapist was courteous, punctual and addressed the problem areas that you pointed out to them, you should at least leave an average tip.

I think some of this advice for tipping is terrible..You should always leave your therapist something regardless if its a house call, Drs. visit or if its there own salon..
