How to Join Job's Daughters

Job's Daughters is a Masonic organization dedicated to improving girls' leadership skills and self-confidence while promoting their personal integrity. The organization actively participates in community service and provides opportunities for girls to help in their communities.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

1. See if you qualify for membership in Job's Daughters. You must be between 10 and 20 years old and related to a Master Mason. You also need a genuine desire to help others, since this is the core of the organization's mission.
2. Look for a state chapter, or Bethel, of Job's Daughters online. Most local chapter websites allow you to download and print a petition for membership. Usually, you can take this petition directly to your local Bethel.
3. Visit the Job's Daughters International website if you can't download a petition from a local chapter. Click the "How Do I Join" link to move to the next page, and then click the "E-Mail the Executive Manager" link.
4. Compose an email to the Executive Manager in the default email window. To use another email account, just copy the email address and subject line into it. Include your name, age, address and phone number.
5. Await a phone call or letter that will reveal the status of your membership. You should receive a personal call that will explain membership responsibilities. Your parents or guardians may also receive a call from Job's Daughters, and you'll need to complete paperwork.
6. Submit the paperwork to your local Bethel chapter, or mail it to the address that Job's Daughters provides. When you submit your paperwork, include your initiation fee.
