Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Search for a particular restaurant. If you know of a certain restaurant's menu you want, then do a search for that restaurant and see if they post their menu on the site. If not, email and request a file be sent to you. One such restaurant that posts its menu on its website is Brennan's located in the French Quarter.
Step2
Visit a compilation site. A number of websites offer compiled information on New Orleans restaurants - one such site being New Orleans Restaurants - includes menus for each of the restaurants included on their site. This site is extremely well done and full of information.
Step3
Call the New Orleans visitors center. If you are looking for information before making a trip to New Orleans, contact the tourist bureau for mailings to be sent to you. In these mailings, request menus of either their choice of the best restaurants in town or a list of ones you are interested in. This may cost extra, but will be well worth it.
Step4
Read the daily newspaper online. The Times-Picayune and the Gambit Weekly Newspaper are both publications in New Orleans and cover the city food beat. This is also another resource for information about New Orleans restaurants and their menus.

on 2/13/2008 I started this web site after spending a lot of time trying to figure out what to eat one day. Surfing the Internet looking for menus is an ordeal. You have to know the restaurant you're looking for and so few have websites. Then when you find a menu, it's usually a part of the web page so when you print it, it looks like crap.
So I started collecting menus in PDF format and built www.TodaysMenuOnline.com. I already have a couple of hundred menus and I'm adding more every day. It's quick and easy to search and the menu is right there.
Check it out,
