If you love to cook, you know what you want in quality cookware. That's why so many cooks buy Emerilware, the cookware inspired and designed by the famous chef, Emeril Lagasse. Emeril's style of cooking is almost an art form in itself and his knowledge of cooking is reflected in the various pieces of cookware in his collection.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate
Step1
Make your choices on what type of cookware you are shopping to buy. The Emerilware cookware collection has several to choose from, including the Stainless sets, the Hard-Anodized sets, the Cast Iron pieces and the Specialty pieces.
Step2
Pick the stainless steel cookware collection by Emerilware if you are in the kitchen a lot and really love the easy care features it offers. This cookware is constructed of triple layers of aluminum with the copper for intense heat and great cooking features along with the tradition Emerilware heavy gauge stainless steel handles. The lids are constructed with the tempered glass so you can see in. It is dishwasher safe. Pieces of cookware can be purchased as open stock or individually, which makes it easy to start your collection. Cookware sets are also available in three sizes being 7 piece sets, 10 piece sets and 14 piece sets.
Step3
Select the Emerilware cookware made of the hard-anodized material if you need cookware that is a bit heavier in quality than the stainless collection. This collection of cookware does have a non-stick interior. It is also offered in open stock options or in prepackaged sets of 7, 10 or 14 piece sets. However, this collection is not suitable for the dishwasher.
Step4
Purchase cast iron pieces of Emerilware cookware if you need really tough pieces of cookware. These are the modern versions of cast iron skillets. These come pre-seasoned and the pieces are available in an open stock collection. All the pieces are more traditional style cookware, such as frying pans, grill pans, muffin pans and baking pans. They are heavy and durable, but not recommended for the dishwasher.
Step5
Think about the fun events where you cook for entertainment and you just might need to buy some of the pieces offered in the Emerilware Specialties collection. There are basically three pieces including the Smoker grill, the Tagine, which is Emeril's version of a Moroccan cooking vessel and the One Pot, which is a high quality steamer and more. These are all sold individually.
Step6
Use the Emerilware website to study the various pieces and collections of cookware available. You can order your cookware directly from the website. If you prefer to see the pieces in person, check with the major department stores or cooking stores in your area as most carry the Emerilware cookware in open stock and in prepackages sets. The purchase price of individual pieces may vary depending upon where you are shopping. The pre-packaged cookware sets will be priced anywhere from $50.00 to $100.00 and up depending upon the size of the package and the type of cookware pieces that are in the set.
