Get organized and stay organized with a Day-Timer personal organization system. Day-Timer is a well-known brand name, and Day Timer organizers can be purchased online and in retail stores nationwide. You can customize the contents of your Day Timer organizer to meet your needs as corporate CEO, student, homemaker, or virtually any other occupation.

Step1
Browse the Day Timer website to see what they have available. Choose a Day-Timer planner system, either loose-leaf or wire-bound. The loose-leaf system has a binder ring method for pages and can easily be customized. The wire bound set is more basic and pages can not be changed.
Step2
Pick a size Day Timer to fit your needs. Day Timer planners range in size form the from Folio (8½" x 11") to Jotter, which the size of an index card. Mid sizes include the Desk and Portable.
Step3
Decide on a Day Timer closure. Day Timers have zipper, snap, magnetic and slip-tab fasteners. The zipper system is best if you often have loose slips of paper or other objects to slip into your Day Timer.
Step4
Choose material for your Day Timer cover--either leather or vinyl; and a capacity, with binder rings from 3/4 inch to 2 inches. Pick a color for your cover, such as black or burgundy, as available.
Step5
Find planner pages for your Day Timer. You may use a monthly page layout, a yearly calendar, page per day, or two page per week layout as needed, or even 2 pages per day for heavy use.
