Instructions
  1. Step 1

Keep your medications safe and dry in one little bottle. It is always a good idea to take aspirin or ibuprofen when you go camping, as well as any other medications you may need. Film canisters make perfect storage for other small medical supplies as well, such as bandages or tampons that should be kept dry.

  2. Step 2

Use film canisters as dry boxes for your personal items while camping or boating. Film canisters float and are waterproof, making them smart and safe places to store paper money, matches or even a special campfire spice mix all your own for cooking over the open fire.

  3. Step 3

Bring along a mini-fisherman's tool kit the next time you go camping, filling film canisters with your favorite lures and bait. Film canisters will keep bait and supplies dry and fresh and are often easier and lighter to carry than a traditional fishing box.

  4. Step 4

Pack a sewing kit just for camping. A needle in thread will come in handy for a number of reasons while in the woods, from fixing clothing to emergency stitches. The perfect sewing kit storage, carry a few needles of various sizes and some heavy black and white thread in a film canister.
