How to Use Corsets in Body Modification

Corsetry was a practice that originally appeared back in the middle ages. It disappeared but has recently made a dramatic reappearance. There are many studies that indicate how dangerous this practice is to a person's health. However, some people use it to raise their self-esteem. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Take the measurements of your waist before you start any type of body training. If you have a particular size as a goal, then you should be able to monitor the progress.

    • 2

Use a corset that is 3 to 4 inches smaller than your current size. Wear this in 2- to 3-hour stretches until you are able to wear it for 10 to 12 hours at a time.

    • 3

Take off the corset at bedtime but replace it with a waist trainer that is about the same size as the corset. Wearing the trainer at bedtime will help you to wear the corset all day long.

    • 4

Put on the next smaller size corset, going down in size by about 2 to 3 inches. When you're not wearing the new corset, wear the old one so you don't undo the reduction you've accomplished.

    • 5

Continue to work through each of the corsets as until you reach your desired waist size.

Tips & Warnings

  • Participating in corset training for body modifications is a hazardous and potentially damaging practice. There is nothing wrong with wearing a corset occasionally, but if you continually use corsets to change your body, you risk medical complications.

  • Forcing the lower ribs together through the use of a corset can cause dizziness, pain and prevent oxygen from reaching important parts of your body. Compression of the soft tissue can permanently injure your internal organs.

I am a transexual and have started wearing a corset to get a womans waist for 3 months. I see that my waist is changing with the corset. I feel they are very safe as long as you use good sense.

I am a transexual and I started wearing a corset about 3 months ago, I am trying to get a womans shape. I see improvements and a womans waist is starting to appear. I feel they are very safe, you just have to be smart about it.

I do not think that corset training it's "hazardous and potentially damaging practice" as you mention IF you are a healthy person and do it gradually ;)
