Step1
Keep it simple and enhance your facial piercings with tattooed makeup. While not as drastic as many body modification techniques, adding ink to your eyebrows, eyelids and lips can do a lot for your eyebrow rings, nose rings and lip rings. Makeup tattoos are available in all colors and can be as mild or extreme as you desire. You might match the bead on your jewelry to your makeup, create an artificial mole above your lip ring, or add a gentle curve to your eyebrows that really enhances your brow ring.
Step2
Supplement your tattoos with piercings. Placing a piercing through a tattoo can greatly enhance both the ring and the ink. Tattoos can be placed on ears, around areolas or even below your lip ring. Adding a colorful or even solid black background to your piercing will make the ring look even better.
Step3
Create a 3-D effect in your tattoos with implantation. Implants can be placed in strategic locations within your tattoos to create a raised 3-D look that can greatly enhance your body modifications and body art. Create raised eyes or actual palpable scales in a dragon, create depth in a flower or implant whiskers into your tiger tattoo.
Step4
Enhance body modifications that include scarification, such as branding and cutting, with a well-placed tattoo. Depending on your specific scarification work and your skin type, branding and cutting is often a subtle body modification that can fade over time. Surrounding or incorporating a tattoo into your scarification can make your body modification more noticeable.
