Choose some undersea life for your diorama. They can be inexpensive plastic creatures or you can use your imagination to create your own out of paper, felt, plastic or any material you choose.

    • 3

Create ocean plants out of colored tissue paper and make some seaweed out of green construction paper. You can make plants out of anything you like, including pipe cleaners or buttons.

    • 5

Cover the outside of the ocean diorama with construction paper. You can leave it plain or decorate it any way you like.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you like, you can paint the inside of your box instead of using construction paper.

Am I missing something? I thought there was supposed to be a cut out at the top to let the light in, and a cut out at the very front so you could actually SEE inside the box. What would be the point of putting all the stuff in there if you wrap it and then can't see in it?
