Step 1
Have a warm foundation by wearing insulating undergarments and a thin layer of specially designed "skin" made exclusively for winter sports. By wearing an inside thermal layer you will give yourself more choices for your outer layers.
-
Step 2
Consider the level of the slopes that you are planning to skiboard. For smaller or stunt slopes near summits, dress in more casual everyday wear, such as hoodies or beanies. For more challenging circuits, you will need professional sports gear.
-
Step 3
Think comfort by ensuring that you are wearing the right sizes leaving you free to move without hindrance. Check that the clothes are light enough that you do not feel weighed down and constricted.
-
Step 4
Dress with safety in mind by having good quality boots or snow shoes and thick insulating gloves. Depending on the type and level of skiboarding you are doing, you might wear protective gear, such as a helmet or joint padding.
-
Step 5
Coordinate your colors by matching your beanie with your board or your snow shoes with your gloves. Skiboarding dress is very similar to that of snowboarding and you can easily interchange many items.
-
Step 6
Shop around different online sites (see Resources below) and sports and outdoor stores. A single new piece of clothing can radically update your look on the slopes by introducing new color and style elements.
