1
Choose your minions. At this point, brown minions are really your bread-and-butter, so be sure you have plenty. You should also use green minions if you can get enough of them. Try to ensure a quarter or more of your troops are green. If you can't get enough green or don't use green minions much, consider using red minions.

2
Take out the first wave of Sir William's followers. Before you ever get to Sir William you will have to weed through some of his red-robed friends. Take them out with your minions by hacking and slashing them. Eventually you will get to Sir William.

3
Attack Sir William and follow him from room to room. Once you hit Sir William, he will retreat to the next room. Use your minions to help keep his followers at bay and continue chasing after Sir William until you get to the big square room with him in the middle.

4
Lure Sir William out of the center of the room. Set your minions at the edges of the room so that he doesn't just eat them up. Get close to the center of the room and wait for him to use the shockwave attack. Retreat out of harm's way while he attacks and wait for him to teleport. Sir William should end up somewhere outside the middle of the room.

5
Land a good hit and retreat. This is your chance to wear him down. Move in close enough that he will try to attack you and then dodge. Swoop in for a quick hit but beware of his counterattack that will come quickly. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 until he dies.

Tips & Warnings
Remember the spawn points in the rooms you battle through with Sir William. You will probably need to replenish your troops to support your Overlord, so use the spawn points when you can.
