How to Use the Saw Putting Grip
You've gotten the ball to the green like you are playing in the Masters. Now you are faced with the dreadful task of putting. If you consistently miss to the left, try saw putting. This putt is based on the principal that when you saw wood, your hands stay on a similar cut-line to produce a smooth natural motion. Here are the four different grips.

1
Try the Perpendicular Saw Cut grip. This is utilized by pros Bernhard Langer and Marck Calcavecchia. While your left hand stays in its usual position, your thumb and last three fingers of the right hand are positioned forward and rest down the shaft. This is especially good to try if you've had trouble releasing your forearms.

2
Use the Claw Saw Putting Grip. For this positioning, your left hand remains normal, while your right hand makes a claw. The thumb stays on the backside of the club while the rest of the fingers rest around front.

3
Try the Parallel Saw Putting Grip. The left hand again remains in the "normal" gripping position. Hold up four fingers with your right hand as if you were saying to someone, "I'll meet you at four." Then close your fingers together. With your thumb remaining on the backside of the club, rest your other four fingers on the front of the club so that they are "parallel."

Go for the Vertical Saw Putting Grip. The left hand assumes the usual position. Again, hold up four fingers, close them together. Then this time lock your thumb around the club and point your fingers downward toward the ground so that they are "vertical" in relationship. Play with these four Saw Putting Grips next time you are on the golf course.
