Things You'll Need:
- Handful of bobby pins
- Ponytail holder (thin rubber band-type)
-
Step 1
Part your hair down the middle or to the side, like you may normally part it.
-
Step 2
Secure your hair in a low ponytail, just above the nape of your neck. Make sure that your top is bump-free and that everything looks smooth before you begin pinning.
-
Step 3
Take your ponytail and begin twisting it, as if creating a bun. Twist until a ball accumulates and tuck the remainder of the hair in. At this point, you will be holding an unpinned bun in the back of your hair. Don't let go, this is the trickiest part.
-
Step 4
Begin securing your hair with bobby pins so that the tucked-in part becomes secure and the ponytail holder/ponytail itself remain non-visible. The look appears like a French twist. However, depending on your twisting style, it can look trendy and messy or tight and professional.
-
Step 5
Spray it to hold. Use a great hairspray to make sure that your look will stay together throughout the day or night. Add more pins if needed.
-
Step 6
Use a mirror to check out the back of your hair. This will ensure that everything looks the way you want it. Voila, you are finished!
