Things You'll Need:

  • Ingredients :
  • 4 cups od pumpkin
  • 2 cups of potato
  • 3 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 dry red chillies
  • 2 tsp garam masala powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  1. Step 1

    1. Peel and cut the pumpkins and potatoes into manageable pieces. In a heavy skillet heat the mustard oil and add the chillies. Simmer for 2 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    2. Add the remaining ingredients except the garam masala powder. Add 1 1/4 cups of water to the skillet, cover with a lid and simmer till the potato and pumpkin are tender.

  3. Step 3

    3. Add the garam masala and stir gently. Serve next to rice.
