This is an elegant pie to serve guests. Cut the pieces small, though--this is very rich.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1 tbs. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 chocolate cookie or chocolate graham cracker crust
  • Chopped peanut butter cups, melted chocolate or chocolate shavings to garnish
  1. Step 1

Place cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, butter and vanilla in a large mixing bowl and beat until smooth and light. Gently fold in whipped cream.

  2. Step 2

Using a spatula, gently scoop filling into prepared, cooled chocolate cookie crust. Garnish with chopped peanut butter cups, drizzled melted chocolate or chocolate shavings.

  3. Step 3

Refrigerate 3 hours. Let stand at room temperature for 1/2 hour before serving.
