How to Make Homemade Hash Browns

Do you love hash browns? Here is a recipe for homemade hash browns that will make your tongue tingle.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 to 4 potatoes
  • Cooking oil 1/3 cup
  • Skillet
  • Cheese grater
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Step 1

    Wash potatoes thoroughly.

  2. Step 2

    Add oil to skillet. Place skillet on medium heat.

  3. Step 3

    Shred your potatoes using cheese grater.

  4. Step 4

    Lightly use pepper and salt on potatoes.

  5. Step 5

    Grab a small handful of shredded potato and add to your heated skillet. Use your spatula to flatten potatoes out, keep them as flat and together as you can.

  6. Step 6

    Let potatoes cook in oil for 2 to 5 minutes. When bottom is golden brown it is time to flip.

  7. Step 7

    After flipping your hash brown it should only take 2 minutes for the other side to get browned. Watch closely to avoid burning.

  8. Step 8

    Then repeat until all potatoes are gone. Then enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • Grease will be hot; be cautious while cooking.
