Cleaning the bathroom is probably one the least desirable chores on the housework list. Add an uncooperative shower stall to the mix and the job gets even worse: Glass doors and plenty of corners where mildew just seems to multiply all add up to equal a huge mess. But there are a few tricks to make the job less intense.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A cleaning product with bleach
  • Indoor squeegee
  • Dryer sheets
  1. Step 1

Douse the interior of the shower stall with a bleach-infused cleaning product. Close the doors and let the bleach settle for at least 15 minutes.

  2. Step 2

Purchase a "squeegee" tool made specifically for indoor use. (This can usually be found with the cleaning supplies.) Squeegee the bleach from all shower doors. Repeat if necessary.

  3. Step 3

Rinse the shower with hot water. A detachable shower head enables you to reach all corners. If your shower is not equipped with one, you can usually install yourself for less than $50.

  4. Step 4

To prevent soap scum build-up, wipe glass doors down with a dryer sheet.
