There are probably certain folders that you constantly find yourself navigating to. You may already have created a shortcut for these folders on your desktop, but if you have several windows open you still have to work around them to get to that folder. By following these simple steps, you can add your favorite folders to your taskbar for easy access.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Right click a blank area on your taskbar. Make sure you aren’t clicking on any windows or icons.
Step2
Point to “Toolbars” and then click on “New Toolbar.”
Step3
In the “New Toolbar” dialog box, navigate to the folder you wish to add to your toolbar. Click OK.
Step4
You will notice the folder’s name in the right side of your toolbar. Click on the double carets (>>) next to the folder’s name to view and choose from the folder’s contents.
Step5
You might have noticed in the “New Toolbar” dialog that you can also type in an Internet address. If you choose to do this, make sure to enter the entire address, starting with http://.
Step6
To access a website that you have added to your toolbar, right click the site’s name on the toolbar and then click “Open in New Window.”
