Someone that has road rage can be very scary, intimidating and dangerous. Don't let them cause you to have road rage back because it will only make the already bad situation worse. There are many things we can do, here are just a few ideas.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Patients.
  • Cell phone.
  • Mini recorder.
  • Camera.

Step1
Try to avoid traveling alone. When traveling a long distance, it would be a lot safer if you have someone else with you.
Step2
Mini cassete recorder. If you are alone you should bring along a mini cassette recorder so that if someone is giving you a hard time you can record the licence number, a description of the car and any other information that might come in handy.
Step3
Call police. When you can do so safely, pull over and call the police on your cell phone, if someone is with you they can call as it is happening. If you don't have a cell phone pull into a service station and use the pay phone.
Step4
Car accident. It is very important to call the police even if you are safe, because that person is still out there and may possibly hurt someone else or cause an accident and hurt many people.
Step5
Digital or video camera. If someone else is with you and you have a camera or vidio camera he/she can take a picture or video of what is going on, that may also come in handy if that person did end up hurting someone or caused an accident.

Tips & Warnings

  • Try to avoid making eye contact with the person that has road rage.
  • If you are alone it's best not to use your cell phone until you are out of harms way and pulled over off to the side of the road.
