How to Make a Pressed Flower Bookmark

Whether you want to make a homemade gift for someone special or just looking for the perfect DIY afternoon project, this pressed flower bookmark is perfect for any page-turner.

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Laminating sheets
• Pressed flowers
• Ribbons, beads or tassel

1. Place petals between wax paper sheets in a book or under something flat and heavy. Leave flowers there at least one week.
2. Determine size of bookmark and add 1/2 inch to all four sides. Cut two laminating sheets that size.
3. Peel backing off of one laminate sheet and carefully place pressed flowers, ribbons, photos, etc.
4. Place second laminate sheet over top and trim edges.
5. If desired, use a hole punch, then add a tassel or stand of beads.
