How to Make Diaper Rash Ointment for Any Diaper Rash. This recipe is for mdoerate to severe rashes only. Do not use this if your baby's rash is slight.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Single Bacitracin Ointment
  • Lotrimin
  • Original Desitin or Vaseline
  • Cortisone
  • Container for mixing and storing ointment
  • Plastic or metal butter knife for mixing
  1. Step 1

    In container combine equal parts single Bacitracin Ointment, Lotrimin, and Original Desitin or Vaseline.

  2. Step 2

    To that mixture, add 1/4 part Cortisone.

  3. Step 3

    Apply ointment liberally to rash after changing your baby's soiled diapers and thoroughly drying diaper area.

  4. Step 4

    Use for no more than two days.

Tips & Warnings
  • Baking Soda baths are also very healing for sore bottoms. Try 3 15-minute soaks a day.
  • DO NOT use this ointment if your baby's rash is slight since, as with most medicated ointments, it can cause a rash instead of heal.
  • Do not use this ointment for more than two days.
