Things You'll Need
- 8-oz. can pineapple chunks
- 11-oz. can mandarin oranges
- Mixing bowl
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup coconut flakes
- 1 cup sour cream
- Spatula
- Plastic wrap
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherries (optional)
- 1/2 cup pecans (optional)
- 1/2 cup of seeded grapes (optional)
- 1/2 cup of bananas (optional)

Drain the 8-oz. can of pineapple chunks and the 11-oz. can of mandarin oranges and pour the fruit into a mixing bowl.

Add 1 cup of miniature marshmallows and 1 cup of coconut flakes. Pour 1 cup of sour cream into the mixing bowl.

Stir the ingredients with a spatula to coat and combine them. Cover the ambrosia salad with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least two hours.

Tips & Warnings
Add 1/2 cup of maraschino cherries, 1/2 cup of pecans, 1/2 cup of seeded grapes and 1/2 cup of bananas, if desired. Double the sour cream, coconut flake and marshmallow content when adding these ingredients.
