How to Bond With Newborn Twins

Bonding with two newborns can be a little different from bonding with one. Those early days with newborn twins are such a blur you may often forget which baby was last fed or changed. However, even through the constant flurry of activity, parents can still enhance their bond with each newborn twin.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Look for the differences in each baby. No matter how alike your babies may look they will have differences. One twin may be chubbier or have a distinguishing birthmark.
Step2
Call each baby by name frequently throughout the day. This can help you establish a bond with each individual baby.
Step3
Breastfeed your newborn twins. Breastfeeding creates a unique bond. Take time to learn how to effectively breastfeed your twins. Make eye contact with each baby and talk to them while you nurse.
