We all need to feel involved no matter where we are. When you go to college it is sometimes the hardest part of school to get involved with events, people and jobs.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Live on campus, if possible. This helps to get to know people. If at all possible, live their your first year. That way you will get to know new people.

  2. Step 2

Get an on campus job. Not only will you earn money, but you will meet new people that you probably would have not met before.

  3. Step 3

Get involved in clubs and organizations. You can do things that are close to your major or even completely outside your major. Think outside of the box. College is meant to find yourself.

  4. Step 4

Leave your dorm room door open when you are there. Keep it closed and locked when you are gone or asleep. If your door is open, people are more apt to stop by and peek in and you can say, "Hi," and make a new best friend.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't get discouraged if you don't get a job, there are other jobs out there.
  • Introduce yourself to everyone!
