• A login ID and password with appropriate privileges

How to Add a Menu Item in Joomla!

1. Login to the Joomla! site.

2. Click on "Menu Manager."

3. Click on the "Menu Items" icon next to the Menu Name of the menu you want to modify.

4. Click the "New" button at the top right of the Joomla! window.

5. Choose the appropriate menu item type. For more information on the different types of menu items click the Help button at the top right corner of the Joomla! window.

6. In the Details pane in the field labeled "Name," type the name of your menu item the way you want it to appear on the menu.

7. In the Details pane choose the appropriate selections for each category. Categories will vary depending on the menu type that was chosen in Step #5.

8. Click the "Save" button at the top right corner of the Joomla! window.
