If you have finished your movie and are ready to create a DVD, a great program to use is Adobe Encore. The first thing you will need for your DVD project is to import all your video footage into the program.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Computer
  • Adobe Encore
  • Digitized Movie File
Step1
Open the Adobe Encore program and open a new project, by going to File, New Project. Click OK to accept NTSC, the standard television format for DVDs played in the US.
Step2
Go to File, and choose Import as Asset. Navigate to where your footage is saved in its final format, and select it. Click Open.
Step3
Repeat for each video file.
Step4
Encore organizes all video “assets” in a project window where you can view information on all of the files you have imported to use in the DVD project.
Step5
Go to File, and Save As to save the Encore project.
