If you have finished your movie and are ready to create a DVD, a great program to use is Adobe Encore. The first thing you will need for your DVD is a menu. Once you have started a project and a menu, you can start adding text to it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Computer
  • Adobe Encore
  • Digitized Movie File

Step1
Open the Adobe Encore program and open the project you are working on, by going to "File," "Open," "Go to Window," and "Menu" to open the Menu editor window.
Step2
Select the text tool (T) in the toolbox and click directly on the Menu Editor window to make it active.
Step3
For the purposes of these instructions, type the name of your movie, “My Movie.” Go to "Edit," and then "Select All."
Step4
Go to "Window," and then "Character" to make the text character palette active. In the window that opens, you can here choose your font type and size. You can also change the color of the text, by clicking on the color box in the upper-left hand corner. Save your work.
