A great name for a strange drink, the Tequila Mockingbird, admittedly, isn't for everyone. Still, for those who love the flavors of tequila and mint, the Tequila Mockingbird is one hell of a drink. Plus, its green-hued presentation is definitely an eye-grabber.

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 3/4 ounces tequila
  • 1/4 ounce creme de menthe (preferably green for presentation)
  • Soda
  • Juice from half a lime
  • Small highball glass
  • Crushed ice
  1. Step 1

    Now, first add crushed ice to your small highball glass, along with the following: 1 3/4 ounces tequila and 1/4 ounce creme de menthe.

  2. Step 2

    Squeeze in the juice from half a lime, and then drop the lime into the glass.

  3. Step 3

    Just add soda and stir, and you've got yourself a Tequila Mockingbird.
