Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Take a walk or jog around your neighborhood. You'd be surprised at what you'll see and learn when you tour your neighborhood instead of drive through it. Start off with a few blocks at a time (depending on your fitness level). Before you know it, you would have walked two miles!
Step2
Get your heart rate up even more with jumping jacks. Remember you loved these back in fourth-grade PE? Do atleast 25 of these to get your heart pumping.
Step3
Do front and side leg lifts or squats. This is easy to do and can be done in front of the TV. Do about 10-20 leg lifts on each leg or as many as you can stand. If you opt for squats, don't let your knee to go forward beyond your toes.
Step4
Extend your arms out to the side and roll them in a circular motion. This a good exercise to build strength. Starting out at one minute and increasing as you build your strength is a good idea.
Step5
Stretch, stretch, stretch. What's the use of doing all this exercising if you can't enjoy the benefits of stretching? Stretching a few minutes after your workout will make you feel better and keep you from pulling a muscle.
