Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia. It is self-edited by the people who use it; the idea being that with everyone editing each other information will be corrected. Anyone can create an entry or edit an entry.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to the Wikipedia website. Choose a language (English, perhaps?).

  2. Step 2

In the upper right corner click "Sign in/create an account."

  3. Step 3

It will ask you to log in, but you don't have a log in. Click "Create account."

  4. Step 4

Come up with a username and password, then enter them. Also enter the series of letters you see in the space provided. This is to ensure that you are not a robot. Enter an email as well, so they can email you your password should you forget it.

  5. Step 5

Don't pick a username that is offensive, a celebrity, a company, a robot or contains a domain name.

  6. Step 6

You do not have to have an account to edit pages or read them. The benefits of an account include:
    -ability to start new pages
    -ability to edit semi-protected pages
    -ability to upload images
    -ability to rename pages
    There are other pros too.
