How to Jazz Up Your Bookshelf

Incorporate your bookshelf into the decorating scheme of your room, and remove the eyesore of cluttered books.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Bookshelf
• Paint/Wallpaper
• Books
• Bookends
• Small items for decoration.
• Vases

1. 
   Ikea bookshelf.

   Find a cheap bookshelf.

2. 
   Wallpaper

   Prep that boring bookshelf. Paint or wallpaper the interior with bright colors or funky patterns.

3. Organize books by size and color.

4. Find bookends at local flea markets, and be creative. If its heavy enough to support your books, you can use it.

5. Place objects in the center or at the end of each shelf. Alternate placing books into shelf horizontally and vertically.

6. If you have any random piles of wires, nails, or screws laying around on your old bookshelf, just place place these in a pretty vase on top of the bookshelf.
