Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- A scrapbook or spiral bound notebook
- Scissors
- Glue
- Magazines and newspapers you don’t mind cutting up
- Decorative scrapbooking supplies (optional)
Step1
The most important step is to know what you want to attract into your life. For example, visualize your dream job. If your vision is to get a job as a police officer, look for photos of police officers in magazines, headlines about law enforcement and anything that will encourage you along your path.
Step2
Cut these pictures out of magazines and newspapers and if you want, you can even go to a craft store to find scrap booking stickers and other supplies that relate to the police force. You can make your book as fancy or as simple as you want it to be.
Step3
Assemble all your visual elements and figure out how you want to lay them out in your vision book. The idea is to visualize the goals you want to achieve and make a visual depiction of them in your vision book.
Step4
Glue your photos, scraps, and whatever you’ve found into your vision book. Be as creative as you want. For example, if your dream is to take a family cruise, put a photo of your family next to a picture of a cruise ship. You can even glue in photos of the ports of call you’d like to visit.
Step5
Once you’re satisfied with how your vision book looks, you’re done! The process can be as quick and simple as you want. Or you can take your time and let the book evolve over a few weeks.
Step6
Once your vision book is done, the most important thing to do is refer back to it frequently. You should look at it every day at least once so that your goals stay present in your mind.
