If you enjoy vodka but are sick of the same old vodka and tonics, gimlets, screwdrivers, and martinis, the Yellow Fever is a delicious alternative for keeping you out of the cocktail doldrums. Sweet, tasty, and smooth, the Yellow Fever is a little-known classic that deserves to be one of your go-to vodka recipes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1/4 ounce Galliano
  • 2 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1/4 ounce lemon juice
  • Cocktail shaker and strainer
  • Rocks glass
  • Ice
  1. Step 1

    Add ice to your cocktail shaker, along with the following: 1 1/2 ounces vodka, 1/4 ounce Galliano and 2 ounces pineapple juice.

  2. Step 2

    Mix the drink well by giving your shaker a good 6 to 10 count shake.

  3. Step 3

    Strain the contents into a cocktail glass that contains crushed ice. The drink is now ready to serve.

Tips & Warnings
  • The Yellow Fever isn't terribly strong, so feel free to have two.
  • This is a seriously delicious drink, and most who try it love it.
  • The drink is sweet and sugary though, so don't overload on them, lest you wake up with a wicked hangover.
